CCIE is a Certification examination by Cisco Systems. The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification is accepted worldwide as the most prestigious networking certification in the industry. Network Engineers holding an active Cisco CCIE certification are recognized for their expert network engineering skills and mastery of Cisco products and solutions. The CCIE community has established a reputation of leading the networking industry in deep technical networking knowledge and are deployed into the most technically challenging network assignments.

The program continually updates and revises its testing tools and methodologies to ensure unparalleled program quality, relevance and value. Through a rigorous written exam and a performance based lab, the CCIE program sets the standard for internetworking expertise.

Cisco introduced the CCIE certification in 1993 to assist the industry in distinguishing the top echelon of internetworking experts worldwide. Today, CCIE certification holders represent less than 3% of all certified Cisco professionals and less than 1% of the networking professionals worldwide. Due to this rare passing rate, there is the huge demand for CCIE professionals in India and internationally.

1. CCIE RNS ( Every enterprise today uses Multiple redundant links for providing connecting to each device within the company. This track deals with multiple office setups and networking between those.Most experts agree that these engineers are basically required for connectivity expertise for more than 50 sites )

2. CCIE Security: Cisco first product range 23 years back were routers and switches and slowly after the world started getting connected, Provider: there came cyber crime and network attacks.Cisco has a product range to mitigate almost every kind of attack. Devices like Firewalls, IPS (Intrusion prevention system), VPN (Secure data exchange between multiple branches ). IPV6 Security, VOIP Security and Mobile Device security etc are common program contents of CCIE Security .

3. CCIProvider: Focusses on ISP business and provide them gear which runs massive data exchange. Cisco is no more clear leader and Juniper is quite ahead in this domain.

4. CCIE Wireless : Indoor and outdoor wireless . Cisco is still growing in large enterprises .

5. CCIE Data Center: Cisco biggest Success in recent times and as the cloud demand increases, Cisco will benefit big time. Launched in 2012, the only handful of professionals have achieved this .

2. CCIE DATA CENTER: Launched in years 2012, just 200 people have passed this certification.This is most expensive but most demanded certification.
